After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Food, Nutrition and Agriculture from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, Ms. Pierce earned her Master's degree in Clinical Medical Sciences and her Physician Assistant Certificate from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL, where she was the Valedictorian and Class President and received several awards, including the Dean's Academic Award and the President's Scholarship.
Before coming to Parks Dermatology, Ms. Pierce worked as an inpatient and outpatient clinical dietician, as well as a clinical nutrition specialist at many locations in New York and Florida, including Marriott Management Services at the JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, FL, Rochester General Hospital and the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, and the Parkway Regional Medical Center in North Miami Beach, FL. She then studied to become a Physician Assistant and completed clinical rotations with the Barry University Physician Assistant Program in Miami Shores, FL, before serving as a Physician Assistant for Lifetime Health satellite family practice office in Rochester, NY.
