Dr. Courtney Bernett, DO is a board- certified dermatologist and an associate of the American Academy of Dermatology specializing in medical and surgical dermatology, with a special interest in eczema (atopic dermatitis), hidradenitis suppurativa, vulvar dermatology and skin cancer detection/treatment. She joined Parks Dermatology Center in September 2020.

Dr. Bernett was born and raised in a small town in western Pennsylvania. She attended Gannon University in Erie, PA for her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and graduated Magna Cum Lade. Dr. Bernett graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her dermatology residency training at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL and served as chief resident during her final year. Dr. Bernett has spoke at national medical conferences, participated in research, and authored medical publications.

Dr. Bernett now serves as a faculty member for the Orange Park Medical Center Dermatology Residency program and truly enjoys teaching medical students and residents. She and her husband, Andrew, recently relocated to the Port Orange area. They have a very sweet Siberian Husky named Trinity. Dr. Bernett sincerely enjoys taking care of her patients and loves getting to know her patients and their families.
