The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. It’s held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team is excited to participate this year.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease. Route Length: 2 miles
We have the honor of being a sponsor for the Flagler Walk to End Alzheimer’s, scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Veterans Park in Flagler Beach. This will be our 5th year of walking together as a team. This fight is very near and dear to our family and friends as my mom, Sweet Sue ended her 8 year journey with Alzheimer’s November 14th 2014. This year we walk in her memory and to help fund research for this devastating disease.
Alzheimer’s disease can not be stopped or slowed, neither can we. It is estimated that 5.1 million individuals may have Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s disease is officially listed as the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States.
Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer’s, and provide programs and support to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans. We are asking our friends and colleagues to join us in this incredible opportunity to raise awareness and support for our community.

We had a great turnout for a cause that is extremely important to us. The money raised goes towards melanoma research and awareness. We also perform skin screenings at this event. Early detection is key!
Gator 100 Press Release
Parks Dermatology Center; a company that is ranked as one of the top Dermatology Practices in the US has now been recognized by the University of Florida as one of the inaugural Gator 100 recognizing the fastest-growing companies owned or run by Gator alumni.
Jeff Parks MD; President of Parks Dermatology received recognition for their achievement at Friday’s inaugural Gator100 gala celebration at the Reitz Union, and sponsored by Sponsored by UF, the Warrington College of Business Administration and its Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
UF sent out invitations to alumni-owned businesses — from high-tech startups to local contractors and then culled the top 100 from several hundred respondents. Ernst & Young then calculated each company’s compounded annual growth rate from 2010 to 2013 to get the rankings, which were disclosed Friday.
