An advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) is a RN who has completed advanced coursework and clinical education beyond that required of the generalist registered nurse (RN) role. According to the International Council of Nurses, an NP/advanced practice registered nurse is a registered nurse who has acquired the knowledge base, decision-making skills, and clinical competencies for expanded practice beyond that of an RN, the characteristics of which would be determined by the context in which he or she is credentialed to practice.
Ida graduated with highest honors from St. Joseph’s College of Maine with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to completing her nurse practitioner degree she worked as a registered nurse in the hospital setting for 10 years. Ida has always had a passion for dermatology and previous to joining our practice she worked with Onsite Dermatology servicing Assisted Living Facilities.
Ida enjoys general and cosmetic dermatology and is happy to work with patients of all ages to identify their individual skin care needs. Ida has had extensive training in dermal fillers and specializes in Botox®, PDO threadlifts, Sculptra and Juvederm.®
Ida grew up in the Daytona Beach area and loves to spend time with her family fishing, boating and camping.
